Plan The Sprint
Then Get Out Of The Way
Sprints sit on the same work items as the backlog and board, so there's nothing to copy between tools. In the app, sprints appear as groups.
Plan A Sprint From The Backlog
Select work in the backlog, move it into a sprint or create a new sprint from the selection, and give it a goal and dates. Starting the sprint moves its items from the backlog to To Do, and items take their dates from the sprint.
- A goal and a date range for every sprint
- Bulk move, reprioritize or restatus backlog items
- Planned, active and completed states
From Spec To Sprint-Ready Tickets
Attach a PRD as a PDF or Markdown, a spreadsheet or a CSV, and ask Noa to plan it. It drafts tickets with priorities and acceptance criteria, and you add or cancel each one before it lands in the backlog.
- PDF, Markdown, text, XLSX, CSV and more
- Acceptance criteria on every proposal
- Nothing is created until you confirm it

Track Time Against The Work
Log time on any work item with a duration, date and note. Entries show in the item's Time Logs tab and its activity history, and Noa can read them when you ask where the time went.
- Quick presets from 15 minutes to 8 hours
- Edit or delete entries; every change is in the activity log

And The Small Things
That Add Up
Complete when it's done
Completing a sprint shows completed, in-progress and to-do counts, and waits until every item is finished.
Private drafts
Shape new work privately and promote it to the backlog when it's ready.
Standups from the board
The board shows the sprint by status, with the same filters as every other view.
Ask Noa what's at risk
Ask what's overdue, what's stuck in review or who owns what, in NoaBox or in Slack.
Commits on the ticket
With GitHub connected, commits that mention a key show up on the work item.
Your overview
Your work in each project, items by state and priority, and a monthly recap.
Questions, answered
You group backlog items into a sprint with an optional goal and a start and end date. Starting it moves the items to To Do on the board. When everything is finished, you complete it. In the app, sprints are called groups.
Yes. Attach a PRD as a PDF or Markdown, a spreadsheet or a CSV, and ask Noa to plan it. It proposes work items with priorities and acceptance criteria, and you add or cancel each one before it's created.
Yes. Log time on any work item with a duration, date and note, and see every entry in that item's Time Logs tab. There are no timesheet reports or time exports today.
Not today. Completing a sprint shows how many items were completed, in progress or still to do, and your Overview shows work by state and priority with a monthly recap. If you rely on burndown or velocity charts, factor that in.
